edgeZones
theedge is a multiple service church. Because of that we have many people that live close to each other, but have never met and may not even know they go to the same church! In order to be relational we need to be relational. I know that sounds obvious, but it's true. We have decided the best way to build better friendships is to split the city up into smaller zones that will meet with each other several times a year.
Since we are an Edmond church we felt it would work best to divide the city up by school districts. Edmond has 3 high school districts and these are the lines that we will us for our neighborhood zones. There will be and Edmond Memorial, Santa Fe and North zone. Each zone will meet together throughout the year for the simple purpose of getting to know one another and creating organic relationships - the kind that just happen spontaneously.
Now, for all our families that do not live in one of these zones, we ask that you join up with some friends in one of the zones and just adopt it as your own. We believe the zone meetings will be the best way for us to know each other, build stronger friendships, meet new people, and stay in contact with our fellow edgers.
So if you are new to theedge or you have been here for a while...get in the zone!
